Central Virginia Regional Science Fair
Celebrating STEM Student Research!
About the Science Fair
CVRSF is an affiliate of the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair. Founded in 1972, CVRSF science fairs encourage students to take the leap and create a science investigation. The students participating in the regional fair represent Amherst County, Appomattox County, Bedford County, Campbell County, Lynchburg City Schools, and area private schools. A steering committee comprised of local science supervisors, specialists along with colleges assist with planning, executing, judging and supporting students and teachers during the school year. The Future Focus Foundation serves as the fiscal agent for the CVRSF. Sponsor contributions are received by FFF. Area college and university professors, health and STEM professionals in business and regional government serve as judges.
