For the second year, Future Focus Foundation partnered with Randolph College's SciFest to bring Virginia Kidwind to Lynchburg. The event was held March 30th at the MAC recreation center on campus coinciding with the Lynchburg Maker Faire. Teams representing Appomattox, Amherst, and Dunbar Middle Schools, along with traveling teams from Martinsville and Roanoke, competed in the KidWind Challenge. Winning teams will head on to JMU for the Virginia competition. Congratulations to our Lynchburg Regional Winners. We are already planning for Kidwind 2026 with expanded age groups - 4 & 5, 6-8, and 9-12 grade levels. In addition, we will have the Solar Energy Option. We're all about STEM learning and bringing families together.
